Sync Stock Level with ERPLY
How are stock levels from ERPLY displayed in ShopRoller?
This article will look at how to import stock levels from ERPLY and what display options you have.
NB! To sync products with ERPLY, you will first need to link your ShopRoller account with your ERPLY account.
You can see how to do that by clicking this link for the help manual.
1. Link your ShopRoller account with ERPLY
First, you will need to link ERPLY to your account.
You can find how to do that, here.
2. Go to the ERPLY settings page in ShopRoller
In your ShopRoller account, click ADD-ONs and open SALES ADD-ONs.
Open the settings for ERPLY.
3. Enable: Import Stock Levels
On the ERPLY set-up page in ShopRoller, go to the section IMPORT STOCK LEVELS.
Check the box titled ENABLED.
4. Select the Stock Level to display
Select what type of stock levels you would like to display using the drop down.
This setting will come into play, if you allow your customers to "reserve" products (ie. reserve a product to purchase later).
The options are:
1. Physical inventory
2. Free in inventory (minus reservations)
If your customer's cannot reserve your products, then this step is not so critical.
Here's the difference between them:
1. Physical inventory
Physical inventory refers to the total stock levels which are physically available in the warehouse, regardless of whether any products are being reserved/ held for another customer or not.
In other words, if a customer has reserved a product, the stock level indicator does not change.
For example: if there are 10 products initially available for purchase, then 3 products are reserved for later purchase, customer's will still see 10 products available for purchase: "10 left".
Select this option if you would like to display stock levels based on total units entered, regardless of whether these products have been booked or reserved.
2. Free in inventory (minus reservations)
Free in inventory refers to the total stock levels which are left for purchase, considering products which are being reserved/ held for customers.
In other words, if a customer has reserved a product, the stock level indicator changes by reducing units.
For example: if there are 10 products initially available for purchase, then 3 products are reserved for later purchase, customer's will see the remaining stock level: "7 left".
Select this option if you would like to display stock levels based on total units left (available).
4. Save!
Please allow some time for the synchronization to take effect.
Other than that, it should all be done!
