How to add related products
Similar products
1. Choose a product from the catalog
- Go to admin and open Catalog and under it choose Products
- Select or find the product you want to add Similar products to
2. Open the product card
- On the product card, select Related products from the top menu
- Under Related products, select Similar products from the drop-down menu
3. Add Similar products to the product
- Add similar products by clicking +Add products
- By default, products from the same product group are selected to display for similar products (if no products are chosen)
Matching products
1. Choose a product from the catalog
- Go to admin and open Catalog and under it choose Products
- Select or find the product you want to display Matching products
- Open this product card and select Matching products from the drop-down menu under Related products
2. Add matching products to the selected product
- Add matching products by clicking +Add products
- By default, products from the same product group are selected to display for matching products (if no products are chosen)
Manage the display of related products
1. Open the settings of the related products
- To do this, open Settings , then again Settings . And from the left column, select Product page .
2. Choose the automatic display method
- Choose from 3 different automatic display modes.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. The product added for upselling cannot be added to the shopping cart or the upselling product does not appear in the shopping cart.
- See if a price has been added to the upsell product and check if the product is active!
- For Erply: Check that the product is marked "Show in online store"
2. Where can I change and translate the names of Related Products: Compatible Products and Similar Products?
- You can change and translate the name for the Related products types in the admin: Settings > Related product types
- If you are translating the names, select the language for the shop you want to add translation for.
